Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze structural components and systems for petrochemical plants and facilities
- Perform structural integrity assessments and inspections for existing structures
- Lead and collaborate with project teams to deliver engineering solutions within budget and on schedule
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and reports in compliance with industry codes and standards
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., ASCE, AISC, API, etc.)
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and ensure design specifications are met
- Provide technical expertise and support during the construction phase of projects
- Assist with the preparation of project proposals and technical presentations to clients
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering, with a focus on petrochemical or industrial projects
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, SAP2000, RISA, etc.)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- In-depth knowledge of engineering codes and standards, including local regulations
- Experience in performing structural analysis and designing foundations, steel, concrete, and other critical structural systems
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
