Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive heavy-duty vehicles, for transporting propane tanks, and other excavation materials.
- Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting excavation and equipment to and from job sites.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe driving practices.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition; report any issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with excavation and project teams to understand job requirements and coordinate material transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, loads, mileage, and other relevant documentation.
- Assist with general labor tasks on-site, including manual digging, clearing, and equipment setup, as required.
- This role includes on-call responsibilities, as the needs of the company require that you work past your regular departure time or otherwise outside of your regular work hours
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Some experience with heavy equipment is preferred, but will train.
- Positive attitude, safe mindset, and great communications/customer skills.
- CDL-Class A (Hazmat/Tanker) endorsements.
- Physically able to lift and pull up to 70 pounds, in all weather conditions.
- Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
