Job Overview
Local sports team is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Web Manager to oversee our online presence and enhance our digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our website, optimizing user experience, and implementing effective digital marketing strategies. This role requires a blend of 10% technical skills, 45% creativity, and 45% strategic thinking to drive engagement and conversions.

Duties

• Manage and maintain the company website using WordPress, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with branding guidelines.
• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across various channels including email marketing, social media marketing, and content marketing.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling copy that drives conversions and supports sales initiatives.
• Monitor website performance using analytics tools, making data-driven decisions to enhance user experience and engagement.
• Write engaging content for blogs, landing pages, and promotional materials that resonate with target audiences.

Experience

• Familiarity or holding a passion with copywriting techniques for sports that drive engagement.
• Experience with digital marketing strategies including email marketing, social media marketing, and overall digital marketing best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Ideal Candidate is a person wanting a career or side job in Sports Journalism. Technical skills are not a must as that can be handled.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $23.84 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
