Job Description:
Leading global metals manufacturing and distribution company is looking for (1) full-time Aluminum Saw Operator at a key service center location in Ellwood City, PA. Candidates should ideally have metal service center work experience with cutting, processing, and packaging of steel plate products. We are looking for a self-motivated individual, possessing good communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work within a team. Key Functions:
- Cutting, processing, packaging of steel plate products
- Operating fork-lift and overhead 20Ton crane equipment
- Package and band material for shipment.
- Unload and receive materials into stock.
- Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards of each job assignment.
- Loading and unloading heat treatment furnaces
- Hardness testing of steel plate
Requirements:
- Prefer 2 years of experience in metal service center operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
- Strong ability to work within a team
- Academic proficiency in maths, reading comprehension, mechanical abilities.
- Valid Driver's License required.
