WE are seeking a bright, energetic and organized person that can handle a high volume of work in a timely and efficient manner. Individual must have strong communication and leadership qualities and skills with a strong Environmental / Construction background. The capability to direct and manage on-site personnel, as well as establish and maintain working relationships with Owners and other persons involved with the project on a day to day basis. Individual will be responsible for the direction projects are managed to stay within budget and to achieve quality projects being completed on time. Individual will also develop new business clients, as well as strengthen the existing business relationships in the Environmental Construction Industry. 5 year’s verifiable experience.
Primary duties include but are not limited to :
- Seek out bid opportunities and attend pre-bid meetings.
- Comprehend all project specifications, scope limits and project constraints while incorporating into pricing.
- Perform detailed and accurate take-offs of the work from the contract plans.
- Determine scopes that will need to be allocated to subcontractors and establish those relationships.
- Track and update vendor information
- Develop proposal documents and track estimating results and success rates.
- Accurately estimate, budget, and bid various types of demolition projects.
- Negotiate contracts that are awarded.
- Develop detailed and accurate take-offs of the work from the contract plans
- Develop contacts in the industry to ensure backlog of projects.
- Competencies :
- Comprehension of all Environmental / Demolition scopes of work, including but not limited to :
- The ability to accurately read and understand survey’s, blueprints and architectural drawings.
- Good verbal and written skills.
- Competency in using all Microsoft Office software, as well as the ability to use and navigate various types of plan rooms.
- Attention to detail with the ability to oversee project from office or on-site.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Great communications skills and Quality time management skills
Qualifications :
Bi-Lingual a plus Minimum 5 years’ verifiable experience in the Environmental commercial construction industry specializing in Asbestos, Mold & Lead Paint Remediation.
Previous experience in cost analysis and estimating.
