EDS Service Solutions staffs car rental companies across the United States. You will have the opportunity to work with the newest cars and top-rated rental car companies!
Driver Position
The driver is responsible for transporting vehicles to and from rental locations while following written directions. Transportation primarily involves short distances within the same airport lot. Vehicles are moved from the return area to the service area, and once they are ready for rental, they are transported to the rental area.
Job Description:
- Drive and transport vehicles to different areas within the car rental center.
- Deliver vehicles to the appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner.
- Ride with or follow another driver to drop off or pick up multiple vehicles.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Park cars in their designated spots within the rental lot.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work in inclement weather.
- Physically capable of getting in and out of vehicles safely.
- Must be able to drive for up to 8-hour shifts.
- Must be able to walk, stand, and bend for up to 8-hour shifts.
- Must be able to work in outdoor environments for up to 8-hour shifts.
- Weekend availability required.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires frequent walking and standing throughout the shift, getting in and out of vans, as well as bending and stooping. Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions.
Available Shifts:
- Must be open to working OVERNIGHT.
- Must Speak English and Spanish
Location:
TPA Airport
Pay Rate:
$14.00/hr (Weekend shifts required to be eligible for this rate).
