As we transition from an incredible summer/fall season, we are thrilled to continue the momentum into our bustling winter season at Edson Hill. We're looking for a few passionate and motivated team members to join us for dinner service! If you’re excited to bring your talents to Northern Vermont’s premier dining destination, we want to hear from you.

At Edson Hill, we focus on delivering innovative, curated dishes made from the finest local ingredients. Our goal in The Dining Room at Edson Hill is to provide our guests with an outstanding and memorable experience. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is polite, outgoing and eager to learn and work with our team of talented, passionate and fun people who are knowledgeable about local foods, wine and great service.

What We’re Looking For:

We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well as part of a dynamic team, and is eager to contribute to the Edson Hill experience. If you love engaging with guests, are knowledgeable about food and wine, and take pride in providing exceptional service, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the dining room for nightly service, ensuring everything is pristine and ready for guests.
• Participate in pre-service meetings to learn about specials, menu changes, and upcoming training and tastings.
• Master the steps of service, from table pacing to section maintenance, while collaborating with your fellow team members.
• Guide guests through our curated food and beverage offerings with expert recommendations.
• Regularly check in with guests to ensure their complete satisfaction.
• Perform side work throughout your shift, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
• Support your team with a professional, respectful, and considerate attitude at all times.

What You Bring to the Table:

• A passion for fine food, drink, and providing an exceptional dining experience.
• Previous fine dining serving experience.
• Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with both guests and teammates.
• The ability to keep up-to-date on menu offerings, ingredients, and seasonal changes.
• A commitment to expanding your knowledge of local wines, spirits, and foods.
• The ability to stay composed and patient under pressure, always maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor.
• Provide excellent service and warm hospitality at all times
• Integrity and the ability to use sound judgment while doing the right thing, every time.
