Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
- Utilize learning technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with special education staff to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in instructional design.
- Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning while promoting respect and responsibility among students.
- Proofread and review educational materials for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; certification in Social Studies preferred.
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting, preferably in a private school or Montessori environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with education administration processes is a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using learning technology for instructional purposes.
- Ability to design engaging instructional materials tailored to meet the needs of all learners, including those requiring special education support.
