This position offers a rare opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of PreK-5th grade students. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and speech disorders in exceptional education students.
You will work closely with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans that cater to each student's unique needs. Your expertise will help students overcome communication barriers and achieve academic success.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Master's degree from an ASHA-accredited university
- Active state-level licensure and/or certification, or the ability to obtain it
- Experience working in schools or with children is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and speech disorders in exceptional education students
- Evaluating, screening, and observing students to develop effective treatment plans
- Writing evaluation reports, progress notes, and individualized education plans
- Collaborating with parents, teachers, and administrators to ensure seamless therapy coordination and progress tracking
