Job Summary
This is an excellent opportunity for a school-based therapy assignment with regular school hours and no nights, weekends, or late-night appointments.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat students with mental health issues.
- Work individually or in small groups with students.
- Communicate with teachers and parents to develop strategies for student success, including ongoing counseling and individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Analyze the effectiveness of mental health interventions with the student body in collaboration with administrators.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Masters degree from a NASP-accredited university.
- Active state-level licensure and/or certification, or ability to obtain.
- Experience working in schools or with children preferred but not required.
