Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Zion, IL. As a school-based SLP, you will work closely with students and educators to provide exceptional healthcare services.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and speech disorders in exceptional education students. This includes evaluating, screening, and observing students, writing evaluation reports, progress notes, and individualized education plans, participating in individual education plan meetings with parents, communicating and coordinating therapy with parents, teachers, and administrators, and performing other related tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an ASHA-accredited university
- Active state-level licensure and/or certification (or ability to obtain)
- Experience working in schools or with children preferred but not required
