What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences that support each child’s growth and development.
- Foster language, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills through inquiry and exploration.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and fellow educators to create an inclusive, welcoming environment.
- Communicate with families, keeping them informed and involved in their child’s learning journey.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
- Permit: Valid Associate Teacher Permit or higher (CCTC).
- Experience: Previous experience working with young children in an early learning setting.

Requirements:
Education & Certification:
- Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
- Valid Associate Teacher Permit or higher issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC).
Experience:
- Prior experience working with young children in an early learning setting.
- Knowledge of play-based, inquiry-driven learning approaches (experience with Reggio Emilia-inspired practices is a plus).
Skills & Qualities:
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Ability to create a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with children, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching.
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a dynamic preschool setting.
- Enthusiasm for professional growth and lifelong learning.
Additional Considerations:
- Candidates currently enrolled in relevant coursework toward permit renewal or advancement are encouraged to apply.
