At Educated Solutions Corp, we are seeking an experienced Technical Designer to join our Women's Apparel Design team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to assist in all aspects of sample processing, fit development, and technical design execution.
The successful candidate will work onsite in the Greater Milwaukee area, Mondays-Thursdays, and remotely on Fridays. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing samples, including measuring and prepping for fittings, working with live fit models in-office.
- Using Adobe Illustrator to update design sketches as needed.
- Utilizing the PLM system to set up measurement specs, enter fit comments, and upload sample measurements and fit images.
- Taking notes during fittings and assisting in writing basic fit comments under the guidance of the Technical Design team.
- Capturing fit photos, editing, and uploading them in the PLM system to provide fit feedback to vendors.
- Assisting the Technical Design team in managing workload priorities and effectively communicating task completion.
To be considered for this role, applicants should possess a degree in Apparel Design or Technical Design and previous experience in Technical Design as a Technical Designer or Assistant Technical Designer. Strong organizational and communication skills are also essential. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and experience with PLM systems are required.
