ESC’s premier healthcare client is seeking a Part-Time Retail Pharmacy Technician to join their organization working onsite in Menomonee Falls, WI . The role works 20 hours a week M-F 2pm-6pm . and starts as a contract opportunity affording long-term potential for a top performer. This role may also require coverage every other Saturday as needed. This is an automation role with no patient interaction and requires you to remain focused, stand on your feet throughout your entire shift and process and fill prescriptions.
Major Responsibilities :
- Utilize machines that automate the dispensing of medications, including pill packagers, dispensers, and automated counting systems.
- Ensure that automated systems are functioning properly to dispense medications
- Enter patient data and prescription information
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with medication intake processes.
- Troubleshoot issues with automated dispensing systems.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines to ensure patient safety.
