Our Client, one of Wisconsin’s Top general contractors, construction managers, and design builders, is seeking a Construction Project Manager for their Pewaukee, WI location. This position will oversee all facets of Construction projects including the Physical Construction, Schedule, required Reports and Financial aspects as well as interacting with architects, engineers, subcontractors and owners. This position operates on a Monday-Friday schedule during first shift hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar software.
- Monitor budgets, track expenditures, and provide accurate financial forecasts.
- Prepare and distribute reports on project progress, financial status, and potential risks.
- Enforce quality control measures to maintain compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Lead and support project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Maintain strong client relationships by understanding project requirements and addressing concerns promptly.
- Ensure accurate and organized project documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with a general contractor, design-builder, or construction manager.
- Proven ability to successfully manage multi-million-dollar commercial construction projects, including ground-up new construction.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Project, and Viewpoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
