Description
ESC has an exciting opportunity for an Event Marketing Manager working remotely (PST hours) to support our premier client's business marketing team. The key to this role is strong event marketing experience and program / project management skills. This is a 9-month contract role that offers the ability to influence events and be able to focus on one event instead of multiple.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as project lead for the flagship event (B2B event) and GTM plan
- Oversee the work of event workstream leads (e.g. content, event operations, sponsorships, email marketing, etc.) and lean into execution when needed.
- Create and manage documentation of project progress (via written documents) with contribution from workstream leads.
- Directly accountable to Head of Global Events and Experiences.
- Provide consulting and direction to workstream leads regarding event marketing best practices, production, sponsorships, expo, and content.
- Create collateral and tools for events.
- Collaborate with agencies and vendors on deliverables; directly oversee vendor deliverables
- Compile, analyze, and present performance metrics, identifying opportunities to enhance events and improve performance
- Work effectively across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize work
- After project lead returns, conduct hand off work and perform execution of final event management requirements
