Our client, an HVAC / R Consulting firm based in Wisconsin is seeking a Financial Analyst. This business of 80 employees provides services to clients and spans geography in WI, IL and MI. This newly created role will be instrumental in enhancing financial accuracy, streamlining processes, and providing valuable business insights that support decision-making and company growth. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to optimize financial operations. This role reports directly to the Controller and adds to a Financial team of 3. There are no direct reports for this position. The role is based in Waukesha, WI, pays in the $80K-$90K range based on experience, includes a discretionary bonus plan, normal M-F hours, and a strong benefit program.
The key to this role is a strong educational background with 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst for a like sized organization (80 employees). The incumbent will :
- Directly contribute to the efficient and accurate month end close process in collaboration and as directed by the Controller. Perform balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis and reporting (financial statements and business unit level reporting).
- Assist in the AR collection and client communication process.
- Consistently provide feedback and ideas to improve processes, generating efficiency, elevating access to information, and driving business insights.
- Collect requisite information to assemble, compile, analyze, and deliver accurate and ongoing business unit level budgets and forecasts as applicable and prescribed for defined periods.
- Provide ongoing analysis, categorization, and reimbursement processes for applicable company expenses within company categories and personnel assigned.
- Utilize NetSuite ERP technology.
