Our premier Advertising Finance Client is looking for a Financial Analyst to support their Ad Sales FP&A team as they support Ad Sales leadership in forming their strategy in this ever-changing landscape through data-driven insights. This role will work fully onsite in New York and will have you helping with headcount reporting, supporting goals processes, and structural mechanisms to help keep the global ad sales team aligned with metrics that they are seeing (KPI’s/trends).
Job Responsibilities
- Employ strong communication and organizational skills which allow the candidate to effectively prioritize and complete deliverables on time
- Demonstrate firm understanding and experience with P&L management
- Analyze rich data sets in order to provide tangible insights that influence real-time decision making.
- Drive consolidation, standardization, and process improvement for global reporting mechanisms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 3 years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 2 years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
STAND OUT
- Experience with cube engine tools (e.g. TM1, Cognos or Essbase), SQL and Data warehouse
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and have the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives.
