Web Production Designer
working
onsite
New York, NY
to support our premier client's web retail design team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to deliver clean, web-ready designs based on existing style guides and Brand guidelines in a fast-paced production environment. This is a
5-month
contract role
that offers experience being a part of a collaborative, vibrant, and goal-oriented team. This position requires strong organizational skills, web expertise, intrinsic design ability, typographic skills, and acute attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with key stakeholders is essential.
Responsibilities :
Designing strongly branded promotional graphicsOptimizing digital images for download efficiencyDeveloping clean and effective graphic templates and style guidesFulfilling multiple project requests while simultaneously meeting tight deadlinesRequired Skills :
4 years minimum experience in a web production environmentBA / BS in Design or equivalentExcellent Adobe Photoshop skillsProficient in Illustrator and Dreamweaver / HTML / CSSExcellent attention to detailStrong communication skillsSelf-motivated and capable of working independentlyPreferred Skills :
Strong knowledge of Flash, ActionScript a plusRetail web experience a plusIllustration skills a plus
