Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach Dental Assisting in our Dental Assisting. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach dental assisting courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
- Diploma / Certificate of Completion in Dental Assisting required, Associate Degree preferred
- RDA and / or CDA, and Dental Radiology Safety / X-ry Certified
- At least three years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated and results driven
- Prior teaching experience preferred
