QUALIFICATIONS

Educational and Experience

  • Education: Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Public Administration, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
  • Experience: Proven track record of successful leadership in a diverse educational setting, with experience serving as a superintendent, assistant superintendent, or in a comparable executive leadership role.
  • Certification: Ability to attain Arkansas Superintendent licensure within 60 days of hire.

  • Extensive knowledge of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and student assessment.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The Superintendent of Schools for the Osceola School District will receive a highly competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The salary range for this position reflects the significant responsibilities and leadership required for the role.

In addition to base salary, the following benefits will be provided:

  • Retirement Benefits: Participation in the district’s pension plan (TRS) with additional options.
