What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician/HVAC Master position at Education Service Center Region?
Primary Purpose : Under general supervision, perform a wide variety of highly skilled maintenance and repair work related to HVAC trades and perform related work as required. Maintain and provide for the safe condition and operation of all mechanical systems within the district. Major Responsibilities and Duties : Maintenance and Repair 1. Responsible for turning on / off HVAC systems for daily scheduled school events and functions. 2. Assist in planning, estimating and scheduling work to be done. 3. Inspect jobs upon completion. 4. Provide input into the development and installation of HVAC / electrical systems in new construction. 5. Work with building principals and supervisors to schedule and complete projects. 6. Respond to emergency calls as needed. 7. Work with maintenance crews and conduct training programs for improved performance. 8. Schedule preventive maintenance of HVAC systems and equipment. 9. Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various types of heating and air conditioning systems. Safety 10. Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting and climbing. Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures. 11. Correct unsafe conditions in work area and promptly report any conditions that are not immediately correctable to supervisor. Other 12. Maintain clean and orderly shop area and work site. 13.
