MAIN DUTIES:
Career Preparation Specialists ensure the timely reception and warm welcome of new Job Corps students by providing a well-rounded and highly structured Career Preparation Period. They prepare each student for successful participation in the Career Development Services System by introducing Job Corps Center Staff and the roles they play in students’ long-term outcomes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's Degree preferably with a concentration in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field. Instructional experience and/or Job Corps or related experience working with disadvantaged youth is preferred. OR Associate Degree with a concentration in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field and two years of demonstrated vocational, counseling or educational experience.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
$43,888 per year with 401(k), medical, dental, vision, STA, holidays and vacation
