MAIN DUTIES:
Academic Instructors for Math provide instruction in skills necessary to master academic competencies in a classroom setting. They provide engaging instruction, administer tests and evaluate progress in mathematics understanding and proficiency. They also identify and use appropriate materials for the students being taught and the established department goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree and Tennessee Teaching License. Concentration in Secondary Math or Adult Education is preferred. Advanced degree is highly desirable. Experience with at-risk or culturally diverse youth is advantageous. Regular Driver's License
