SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTION:
Supports activities to the Outreach and Admissions Department
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conducts initial and follow up prospect contact documenting all efforts.
• Schedules and assists with applicant orientations
• Assists with center tours.
• Assist with outreach activities such as presentations to local high schools, agencies and One stops.
• Assists with retention activities such as welcoming new arrivals and focus groups

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
• Meticulous documentation/recording skills and attention to detail; excellent time management skills
• Proficient in the use of computer software such as MSWord, Excel and Outlook, etc.
• Ability to deal with individuals and information in a confidential manner.
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Customer service skills; ability to relate to young adults
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
• Six months work-related experience, preferred.
OTHER:
• A valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record, preferred.
