We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.As the Career Advisor, you will assist in career planning and employment referrals. You will provide excellent customer-centered services designed to enhance and re-engage job seekers into the workforce, while working closely with the Business Services Team to ensure that sustainable career opportunities are available for all job seekers.Responsibilities
- Provide information about CareerLink services and the services of partner agencies and organizations to jobseekers
- Maintain a caseload of 50-75 WIOA program participants
- Administer suitability assessments for individuals pursuing training opportunities
- Represent EDSI on various committees and workgroups as assigned
- Additional tasks may be required to ensure excellent service deliveryQualifications
- Experience providing excellent service to jobseekers and employers
- Experience working with economically-disadvantaged populations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and document all aspects of services provided
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
