Reporting directly to the Newsroom Manager, you'll be the vigilant eyes and ears of our team, handling a diverse range of responsibilities.
From managing news desk duties and energizing our social media channels to producing and scheduling engaging local public affairs programming, you'll be at the center of it all.
Your role is crucial in keeping our weekend broadcasts fresh and compelling, and you'll work closely with various teams to make sure our content is top-notch and on point.

Here's the experience we are seeking :
- Minimum of 1-2 years related experience in the Broadcast Media.
- Demonstrated successful project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, database management, and scheduling software.
- Proficient with studio software applications including ProTools, Soundforge, TLC, Spot Depot, FTP.
- Proficient with all newsroom type broadcast equipment.
- Demonstrate acute attention to detail.
- A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality. Need to be seen as a team player.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business / ministry relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to the social sector with a passion for our mission and values.
Education
Here's some of what you will be doing :
Review interview segments, selecting relevant and compelling portions and complete edits for segments.
Research and maintain awareness of breaking news stories, post stories on websites. Ensure pages are updated and relevant.
