What are the responsibilities and job description for the Placement Specialist position at Educational Partners International, LLC?
Placement Specialists play a vital role within the Placement Department. Specialists work closely with Placement Representatives in a hybrid role to coordinate interviews for international teachers with EPI’s partnered school districts. Specialists assess candidates for viability to properly match district needs. This process includes outreach to teacher candidates and school partners. Outreach includes invitations, interview agendas, phone calls, and soliciting interview performance. Interviews are conducted via teleconferencing and require professional interaction. Verbal and written communication must be polished to promote positive brand awareness.
Placement Season typically begins in November and continues through June. During this time, Specialists will host interviews daily for a significant portion of the workday, while also coordinating future interview events.
Outside of the Placement Season, Specialists will assist with teacher onboarding. They monitor key points in the teacher’s onboarding process and provide suggestions and feedback. Placement Specialists continue to communicate with and monitor the progress of teachers after arrival in their new community via telephone, text messaging, and email.
Attention to detail is essential in this role as data is shared externally with our key stakeholders. Data entry within EPI’s website is to be maintained with the highest level of integrity.
