Physical Education Teacher - beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Ohio educator license in Physical Education (PreK-12)
- Plans instruction to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students;
- Creates a learning environment that is conducive to learning and supports students’ sense of belonging;
- Experience in implementing instructional interventions and differentiation of content, process, product, and environment to support students' needs;
- Willingness to collaborate with all building staff, especially classroom teachers and intervention specialists to review student data, create and revise curricula, review instructional practices and standards, and ensure student accessibility to PE curriculum;
- Commitment to communicating and establishing positive relationships with families and students;
- Assesses student growth regularly and provides progress reports to families and formative feedback to students;
- Commitment to learning and implementing restorative practices;
- Self-reflective of their performance, abilities, strengths, areas of growth, and instructional practices;
- Commitment to Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and students' individual learning, including 504s, IEPs, safety or health plans, and other student-specific plans; and
- Commitment to our Employee Code of Conduct and our Strategic Plan's mission, vision, and values.
