Our Multi-System Navigation Center (MSNC) plays an important role in helping youth and families navigate multiple partners, resources, agencies, and opportunities, in order to access supports and tools needed for success in life.

The MSNC is one of OCALI's nine centers, that work collaboratively to inspire change and promote access for people with disabilities. OCALI is seeking a skilled professional with leadership and program management experience who shares our passion to serve as the MSNC Program Director.

The Program Director will have the opportunity to :

  • Inform the direction and practices of OCALI and our partners.
  • Provide direction and support to MSNC team for completion of center projects that align with the missions of the MSNC and OCALI.
  • Work collaboratively with other center directors and staff on projects of mutual interest.
  • Connect with professionals across the state and locally to implement best practices.
  • Create and deliver professional development to audiences supporting multi-system youth, as well as share resources at local, state, and national conferences.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a great deal of variety and considerable opportunity to use creativity and problem-solving skills.

Essential to this position is the belief that all people can contribute and that youth with disabilities deserve access to high quality, evidence-based intervention and treatment, as well as meaningful connections to their families and their community. Additionally, their families need guidance and support to access and navigate the services, supports, and interventions required to live their best lives.

Required Qualifications and Skills :

Preferred Qualifications and Skills :

  • Knowledge of eligibility requirements, service delivery models, types of services provided, and relevant special education law related to service delivery in schools.
  • Experience with production of online content and training.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience implementing high quality, evidence-based interventions and supports for multi-system youth w / MI / IDD and their families in Ohio.
  • Responsibilities and Essential Functions :

  • Provide leadership and supervisory support to the highly specialized MSNC staff.
  • Support and sustain the current projects and initiatives of the MSNC as well as participate in program development, project planning, and management of future opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively across and within the MSNC and OCALI Centers and Teams, as well as state partners and stakeholders to deliver on MSNC and organizational priorities.
  • Participate in cross-systems collaboration and communication efforts.
  • Prioritize and vet project opportunities and make effective decisions based on data analysis, customer needs, trends, funding opportunities, etc.
  • Work with OCALI Leadership to budget and manage associated contracts.
  • Utilize knowledge of state and regional structures, systems, and management expertise to continue Center growth.
  • Scope, plan, and direct various activities across multiple projects; track, document and communicate proactively on status of project; collect and submit data; identify and surface potential issues; and creatively problem-solve as needed.
  • Balance time across multiple projects.
  • Conduct and facilitate various MSNC engagement activities, including internal and external meetings, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Review data, evaluations, and participant feedback on program effectiveness to make recommendations for program improvement.
  • Maintain current knowledge of evolving evidence-based practices and promising practices for children and young adults with autism and related developmental disabilities.
  • Deliver effective coaching, consultation, and high-quality professional development in various environments including virtual and in-person within the area of complex behavioral health needs and evidence-based practices.
  • Demonstrate accuracy, responsiveness, and excellent communication when participating in meetings and trainings, as well as responding to emails and other written correspondence from stakeholders.
  • Oversee website, social media, and other marketing and communications of the center to market products and services; and
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the executive director, which may include supporting technical assistance initiatives, grant writing, meeting attendance, developing reports, analyzing data, etc.
  • Salary :

    Commensurate with experience and in accordance with specified salary schedule.
