Description
The Educational Service Center of Medina County provides both in-person and online educational programs for students who are more successful in an alternative educational setting. We utilize a combination of online curriculum and staff-created workbooks and provide one-on-one instruction and support for students to ensure they successfully complete their graduation requirements. Alternative School Teachers report to the SUPERVISOR and are responsible for :
- Scheduling of staff and students
- Maintaining required education records including grades and attendance
- Creating and providing progress reports to home school district and parents
- Providing administrative support and leadership to alternative school staff
- Providing instruction and instructional support to students
- Planning and implementing training for staff
- Coordinating with transportation departments
- Maintaining a productive and conducive learning environment in the classroom
