General Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the Director of Wellness and Treatment Services and Regional School Safety Center, the School Based Mental Health Specialist works as part of the treatment team to provide counseling and skill building support to students
Salary:
The full range for this position is $51,343.95 ($32.09 per hour) - $62,463.94 ($39.04 per hour). Offers are made at the entry level of the range.
Assignment:
This position will work full-time, 200 days per year and will serve the Goldendale School District. We provide clinical supervision to our staff.
Essential Functions Include:
- Participate as an integral member of the ESD 112 Behavioral Health Agency and Regional School Safety team.
- Actively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary school team including but not limited to guardians and other natural supports, IEP teams, school and district staff, community treatment staff, and other team members as indicated.
- Enroll, screen, and provide support to youth identified as needing behavioral health services.
- Maintain complete and timely documentation as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations. Support and implement ESD 112 Behavioral Health Agency policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Counseling, Human Development, or Social Services.
- Experience working with social/emotional at-risk youth.
- Experience providing social/emotional support services.
