Special Education Paraeducator - Entiat SD

Primary Duty: Assist the Special Education instructor in creating a positive learning environment to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. Provide educational services to students in the special education program. This position may require one-on-one or resource room support. Other related duties as assigned. May work with students in all grades.

Schedule: 7 hours per day, 186 days per year (80% in Special Education, 20% in General Education)
Salary: $20.69 - $27.13 (Special Education) & $19.44 - $25.88 (Regular Para) per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED credential
• Applicants must also have oneof the following:
• Associates of Arts (AA) Degree or higher; OR
• Minimum of 72 quarter credits from an accepted institution of higher education; OR
• Successful completion of the online ETS ParaPro Assessment
• Successful completion upon hiring of criminal record and background check through the WA State Patrol and FBI.
