This position is responsible for manufacturing processes such as sawing operations, columns, truss building, material handling, fork truck operation, loading trucks, hardware, receiving and various other operations.
- Assemble Trusses and Gables using hammer and tape measure.
- Operate Radial Arm Saw.
- Manually stack wood as it comes off of the machine.
- Assist with finger joiner-tape measure and stack.
- Properly package and handle incoming/outgoing orders.
- Responsible for performing daily cycle counts of various types of inventory.
- Tracking past due backorders verses incoming material.
- Unload material and handle material from truck with forklift as needed and required.
- Work in various areas of the plant based on business needs.
- Maintain clean work areas.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the day.
- Frequent standing/walking/stooping/turning while carrying materials.
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be a team player.
