Job Description:
This position requires a highly skilled and experienced carpenter and project manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in post-frame construction and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and organizing construction projects while working with a 3-4 member crew.
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Participate in the technical and safety training of new hires and crew members.
- Construct high-quality buildings, including installing footings, framing, and sheathing.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of carpentry experience or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience using hand tools, power tools, and various construction equipment.
- Prior experience in post-frame construction is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and other documents related to construction projects.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving criteria guidelines.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work at various heights and in different types of weather conditions.
Salary Range:
$29.00-$31.50 per hour.
