Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The Warehouse Manager will manage inventory, coordinate deliveries, oversee the storage and handling of product, and ensure efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with a strong understanding of warehouse management processes and product handling.
As the Warehouse Manager, you will supervise a team of warehouse staff, maintain inventory accuracy, optimize warehouse space, and ensure that products are properly stored and shipped in accordance with company standards and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all warehouse operations related to the storage, handling, and delivery of furniture.
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently, safely, and according to best practices.
- Oversee receiving, storage, and inventory management of products ensuring all items are properly tagged and tracked.
- Coordinate the scheduling and timely delivery of furniture and other equipment to client sites or project sites.
- Implement inventory control procedures to track stock levels, conduct regular audits, and minimize discrepancies.
- Organize and optimize warehouse layout to maximize storage space and ensure easy access to frequently needed items.
- Ensure the proper handling, storage, and maintenance of products to prevent damage and maintain product quality.
- Supervise the loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring that the correct items are received and dispatched according to delivery schedules.
- Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed within the warehouse, providing a safe working environment for all staff.
- Coordinate with other departments and the assembly team, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of furniture and other equipment .
- Monitor and manage warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other tools, ensuring they are maintained in good working order.
- Handle the preparation of products for delivery, including packaging, labeling, and organizing for shipment.
- Track and report warehouse performance metrics, including shipping accuracy, inventory turnover, and labor efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing furniture and other equipment and generate reports as needed for management.
