What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piano and Voice Teacher position at EDUCATORS MIUSIC?
We are looking to add additional voice and piano teachers to our staff of music instructors. Teachers should be proficient in various vocal teaching styles as well as piano. The hours and days are somewhat flexible, but we would prefer a minimum part-time availability of two days to be able to schedule students. Weekday students are scheduled between 2-7 PM. Saturdays are also available between 10-2 PM. Instructors should have experience teaching one-on-one music lessons to various age ranges and ability levels. Punctuality and organizational ability are required. We also require references and a background check.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for piano and voice instruction tailored to students' needs and skill levels.
- Manage classroom dynamics to create a positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized tutoring and support to students, fostering their musical growth.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and areas for improvement.
- Incorporate various teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including adult education techniques.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
