HOURS : Eight hour shift M-F within 6 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm MST operating hours. JOB PURPOSE : A Quality Assurance (QA) Test Engineer is responsible for the manual testing of the Edupoint web-based applications to ensure product releases meet or exceed quality standards. JOB SUMMARY : The duties include ensuring changes conform to accepted standards for test case development, reviewing functional requirements / technical requirements, and conducting testing for issues, enhancements, and major releases.JOB DUTIES : Write and execute functional and regression tests and required release documentationTrack defects and coordinate defect / issue resolutionPerform risk-based estimates on assigned workEnsure changes to the application meet all applicable standards Ensure all code changes are tested across multiple client environmentsEnsure QA defined policies and procedures are followed on an ongoing basisRetain and demonstrate application knowledge in assigned product areaOther duties as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS-KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES :
- Knowledge : Working knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices
