HOURS : Eight hour shift M-F within 6 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm MST.
JOB PURPOSE :
Sell and market Edupoint products and services in the K-12 market.
JOB SUMMARY :
Responsible for the sales of student and instructional management software products and services to the K-12 education market. Drive new sales opportunities within a defined territory, growing market share to achieve sales quota and performance goals. In addition, create upsell opportunities for new and emerging modules within existing client base.
JOB DUTIES :
- Identify, cultivate and close new Student Information System (SIS) opportunities
- Identify, cultivate and close upsell opportunities of additional modules
- Using Salesforce and other tools, update leadership on progress towards quota goals through weekly reports and quarterly pipeline reporting
- Create and deliver customized client presentations to match the needs of the specific demos / opportunities
- Build and maintain client relationships at the technology and leadership levels within target districts and regional service centers
- Participate in RFP responses by developing pricing, completing price forms, validating references and providing competitive intelligence to assist the RFP team with the proposal
- Facilitate negotiation discussions between client and company
- Develop a strong understanding of our technology solutions and keep current with industry trends
- Effective teamwork within the sales department and cross-function support teams
- Attend area trade shows and industry events
- Other duties as assigned

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Work may require sitting for long periods of time; also stooping, bending and stretching for files and supplies, occasionally lifting files, objects or paper weighing up to 30 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, copier and other office equipment as necessary. Hearing must be in the normal range for telephone and video conferencing contacts. Visual acuity necessary to work extended hours on computer screens. Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise and which can be fast paced and project intensive. Travel and some extended overnight trips in the performance of duties may be required.
