Position Summary
The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient delivery of patient care, optimizing team performance, championing client needs, and developing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. This position combines leadership responsibilities with the administrative facets of healthcare delivery.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
Clinical Leadership :
o Provide clinical leadership and oversight to multidisciplinary behavioral health teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service that promotes optimal client outcomes
o Facilitate regular clinical supervision and mentorship to licensed and unlicensed clinical staff, fostering professional development and adherence to best practices
o Serve as a liaison to upper management and clinical staff to make certain that organizational goals are implemented to enhance care delivery and patient satisfaction
Program Development :
o Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive behavioral health programs and services, grounded in evidence-based practices and aligned with client needs and strategic objectives
o Drive innovation in service delivery models to effectively address the evolving needs of clients and the community.
o Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to identify opportunities for expanding services and enhancing program offerings, as needed
o Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to objectively measure program effectiveness, client outcomes, and service quality. Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for program improvement and optimize resources allocation
Compliance and Standards :
o Maintain a comprehensive understanding of and ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing behavioral healthcare, including HIPAA, and other relevant ethical and legal standards. Proactively monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures to maintain continuous compliance
o Oversee the preparation for and actively participate in audits and accreditation processes. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful completion of all regulatory review and maintain accreditation status
Team Collaboration and Development :
o Foster collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary teams, including medical staff, social workers, and case managers, to ensure the delivery of integrated and provide holistic client care.
o Conduct training sessions to enhance team knowledge and skills in evidence-based behavioral health interventions, including specialized training in areas such as (Case Manager Training, Utilization Manager Training, Clinician Onboarding / Training)
o Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that values individual contributions and staff morale, promotes open communication and encourages a collaborative approach to client care
o Develop protocols and procedures to improve staff productivity
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Sciences, Psychology, Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience : Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a leadership role, preferably in a clinical setting
Experience with hiring, training / developing and overseeing clinical staff members, electronic health records (EHR) and data-driven decision-making.
Knowledge of strategic planning and policy development that comply with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards preferred.
Familiarity with managed care systems and value-based models, budget management, resources allocation and staff development preferred.
Advanced written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, decision making and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated expertise in collaborating with diverse populations and reducing health disparities.
Proficient in using computer systems and Google suites.
Compensation & Benefits
75,000-$85,000 / year, DOE
This position is hybrid, 3 days in office
