Job Description :

At edVANTAGE, client relationships are our top priority. Were looking for a dedicated and personable Account Manager to maintain client accounts and serve as a main point of contact under the Director of Client Experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a drive for providing exceptional customer service. Applicants should also be proficient with content planning, spreadsheets, meeting agendas, strong organizational skills, and task management.

Objectives :

  • Serve as a main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate client campaigns, keeping track of deadlines and tasks.
  • Work with creative and other internal teams to develop strategic plans and ensure KPIs are being met.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better serve our clients.

Key Responsibilities Include :

  • Handle inquiries and requests from clients and address their needs.
  • Help manage weekly agendas and meetings.
  • Stay on top of accounts, making sure they receive services that are part of the edVANTAGE scope of work.
  • Help manage workflows with creative team.
  • Assist in campaign management and milestones.
  • Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business.
  • Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organization.
  • Job Qualifications :

  • Experience : 3 years experience as a communications coordinator, marketing coordinator, or similar job.
  • Strong writing skills to work on press releases, strategic plans, messaging, and marketing collateral.
  • Strong proofing, editing skills with proficiency in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and AP Style.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use technology for creation and troubleshooting of all content.
  • Ability to use software to track creative content.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate work.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate work remotely.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written forms.
  • Ability to engage in self-evaluation regarding performance and professional growth.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.
  • Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to receive, understand, and respond to feedback from edVantage stakeholders and external partners.
  • Exhibits high professionalism, standards of conduct and work ethic.
  • Preferred : Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Video Production, Communications or related.
  • Demonstrates cultural competence in interactions with others; is respectful of others; communicates and acts as a team player; promotes teamwork. Responds and acts appropriately in confrontational situations.
  • Performs all job-related duties as assigned.
  • Ability to Travel by automobile and / or air flight.
  • Special Knowledge / Skills :

  • Skill at the intermediate level, working with Microsoft Office 365, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Expertise in editing; Adobe Creative Suites experience with an expertise in InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of Content Management Software such as Smartsheet, Asana, Monday, or similar platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML.
  • Knowledge of Macintosh and PC platforms.
  • Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards :

  • Work Location : Remote (with travel for video production, client meetings, conferences, and company retreats).
  • Meetings : via Zoom and in person at remote locations, as needed.
  • Tools / Equipment Used : Standard office equipment, including computer and peripherals, with home office.
  • Posture : Prolonged sitting, standing and walking; occasional stooping, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing / pulling, and twisting.
  • Motion : Frequent repetitive hand motions; including keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching.
  • Lifting : Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).
  • Environment : Work is performed in the field and home office setting; may require occasional irregular and / or prolonged hours.
  • Attendance : Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position.
  • Mental Demands : Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions.
  • Compensation :

  • Salary ranges from $55,000-$80,000 depending upon experience.
  • Personal / vacation days - 10 per year.
