QA Engineer with SQL Exp is must

Job Title: QA Engineer

Location: Chicago

Contract/Fulltime

Experience level: 7 years

Responsibilities

· Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases

· Identify, document, and track software defects

· Work closely with development teams to resolve defects

· Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

· Contribute to the development of quality assurance processes and standards

· Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams

· Ensure software products meet quality standards and customer requirements

Requirements and skills

· Excellent in SQL /stored Proc creation and analysis

· Very strong experience in Manual testing

· Knowledge on billing integration

· Knowledge on compliance with financial regulations and best practices

· Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

· Experience with various testing methodologies and tools

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Additional Skills (Preferred):

· Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter)

· Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

· Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
