What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Academic Tutor position at Edward F. Parthum Elementary School?
The Part-Time Academic Tutors at the Parthum Elementary School will be responsible for providing push-in/pull-out classroom support for all grade levels (K-4) and subject areas in a 1:1 or small group format.
Bachelor's Degree preferred; Minimum of an Associate's Degree required
Excellent communication skills required
Proficient in English; Bilingual preferred
- The Parthum Elementary School uses Wonders ELA, Eureka Math, Impact Social Studies and Inspire Science
- - This position is part-time and scheduled to begin in early October 2024 and end in May of 2025. Days and hours for this position are Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday 8:00-1:30 (5.5 hours/day, 11 hours/week). There will also be on Friday per month of scheduled planning with teachers (6 hours). There will not be tutoring on half days/vacations.
- Pay is $35/hour
