What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long-term Elementary Special Education Teacher Substitute position at Edward Fenn School?
SAU 20 is looking for a long-term sub in our Ed Fenn Elementary school.
This position will be for longer than 20 days and needs to be filled by an educator with a current NH DOE certification.
Position starts the school year (August 25, 2025) and is expected to end at Thanksgiving break.
Our paraprofessionals and general education teachers count on the special education teacher to bring the best to the classroom every day. We’re searching for a qualified special education teacher to join us in delivering the high-quality learning experiences we’re known for. The ideal candidate has prior experience in this role, and is flexible to adapt to the changing nature of the demands of the special education system. He or she will work closely with an assigned student/s, and paraprofessionals and support them in their tasks. Typical tasks include creating goals, planning and leading meetings as well as teaching. The thriving special education teacher is caring, compassionate, and committed to each student’s success as well as the success of the team they lead.
