Team Overview:
The External Transfers team is part of the Asset Movement Capability in Operations. The team is primarily responsible for supporting client requests to transfer funds out of the firm to other financial institutions. The work primary of the area includes liquidating assets and/or delivering assets in kind to other brokerage firms, banks, Trust companies, Insurance companies and Mutual Fund companies.

What You'll Do:
As the Business Support Specialist II, you will be responsible for supporting and leading department efforts through enhancements, Process/Regulatory changes, Division strategic initiatives and changes from upstream or downstream stakeholders. The most important aspect of this job is the ability to multitask between multiple efforts as well as communicating to key stakeholders, Sr leaders and dedicated business owners in the area.
  • Plan, document and execute projects, enhancements, and processes, including the launch of new products or product partners and enhancements to existing tools and enhancements.
  • Serves as a key contact for requirement identification and verification for new products and tools.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal dedicated Business owners and collaborate and build consensus with leaders from multiple divisions.
  • Adopt processes for risk controls (e.g., Privacy, Business Continuity Planning, Record Information Management, Written Supervisory Procedures) and coordinate with departments to complete the applicable requirements.
  • Collaborate with Firm Analytics to leverage data for insights and reporting needed to inform business decisions and communicate results.
  • Performs qualitative and quantitative analysis of complex and confidential data.
  • Broadening and deepening Subject Matter Expertise in assigned product area(s) of emphasis.
  • Mentor associates in the division and share knowledge to assist with development.
What Experience You'll Need:
  • Previous Project Management Experience in leading projects and implementing change management.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
    • 3 years of experience in their respective product or financial services industry or equivalent tools/systems or combination of experience and education
What Could Set You Apart:
  • Previous experience in ADKAR, Lean Six Sigma, Design thinking, Agile methodologies

***Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.***
