What you’ll do…
Edward Jones’ Operations Change Management team is seeking a Change Consultant to deliver efforts that support the division of approximately 1000 associates. This Change Consultant would be responsible for design and execution of end-to-end change strategy on medium to large change initiatives while also managing risk prevention and mitigation strategies on those efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of change management strategy, with minimal supervision, of assigned projects and efforts, adhering to the firm’s Change framework, methodology, systems and tools to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Leverage strategic consultations skills to coach/advise and influence strategic decisions of the Sponsor (executive level), Steering Committee, business leaders, and integration groups on people-related change strategies and change risk mitigation approaches
- Demonstrate strong flexibility, execution, and consultation skills to anticipate and respond to shifts in strategy as warranted, leveraging data and stakeholder input to adjust the execution plan when necessary. Partner with Business Leader to track and report progress towards sustainable outcomes.
- Partner with the project leader to document the project objectives, benefits, structure, and governance that will support holistic monitoring, controlling, and reporting program status and progress towards outcomes.
- Actively participate in the broader change management community, including facilitating and leading when appropriate. Serve as liaison for the division to the Firm Change Team, as needed.
- Drive and recommend improvements in Change Management and industry “best in class” practices to strengthen change and communications impact and value for the Operations division.
Some of the types of projects you may have the opportunity to impact include:
- Divisional level projects that have regulatory, cross-capability impact
- Changes in divisional structure and people movements, as needed
- Assisting the Firm Change Team with transformational changes being rolled out across the enterprise to ensure awareness at the divisional level
What Experience You Need:
- A bachelor's degree is required or relevant experience.
- 4 years of change management or related experience is required.
- Financial services industry experience preferred
- Prosci and/or CCMP Certification is required within 1 year.
- Experience creating, monitoring, and interpreting stakeholder change readiness and adoption metrics through the entire project lifecycle preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
