As a Data Scientist I on our team, you will design, develop, and deliver data science solutions requiring advanced mathematical methods, machine learning, and statistical models in support of data-driven strategies. You will combine data from multiple sources to develop innovative solutions to business problems and collaborate with business partners and other data scientists to develop tailored analytic solutions that inform and influence business decisions across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use statistical modeling, machine learning, and numerical optimization to discover and explain patterns in data.
- Create features and develop models beyond standard toolset libraries to meet unique business challenges.
- Interpret and communicate findings and insights from the data to business partners
- Define data needs and evaluate data quality for applicability to posed problems
- Execute projects from design through implementation and final delivery to internal business partners
- Master of Science Degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or related field required. PhD degree desired.
- 1-3 years professional experience with predictive statistical models or numerical optimization, and working with typical data used in such analyses
- Experience with one or more programming languages (Python, R, Scala)
- Ability to derive insights or novel ideas from data and mathematical models using a hypothesis driven framework. Connect insights to desired research or business outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability and interest in learning new algorithms and tools, including optimization, natural language processing and graph analysis.
