business. In a Platform Engineering role, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining Business
Intelligence and Advanced Analytic solutions in support analytics users across the firm. This will also

placing powerful analytic tools in the hands of those responsible for answering the firms most critical

business. In a Platform Engineering role, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining Business
Intelligence and Advanced Analytic solutions in support analytics users across the firm. This will also
bring you into contact with a diverse array of stakeholders from each division. In doing so, you will be
placing powerful analytic tools in the hands of those responsible for answering the firms most critical
questions.
Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of...
- Work closely with project teams to deploy new solutions for proof-of-concept efforts
- Independently design, assemble, configure, install, maintain, and tune complex infrastructure components
- Develop integrated system designs and specifications
- Develop, package, test, document and implement quality infrastructure on a variety of platforms (Linux, Windows, etc.)
- Deploy, configure, support, and maintain cloud infrastructure and application components (IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS)
- Debug and correct complex internal and external infrastructure problems
- Document step-by-step procedures and system configuration for use in ongoing support and future efforts that require modifications or upgrades to the infrastructure
What Experience You'll Need:
***This position has a mandatory 24x7 on-call schedule (1 week per 4-weeks rotation)****
***Depending on experience/qualifications, this role may be filled as a Platform Engineer or Solutions Engineer*****
***Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.***
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in Systems Administration
- 3 years of experience in a Platform Engineering role in support of on-prem and Cloud based deployments (Azure preferred)
- Additional experience with:
- Software deployments on Linux and Windows systems
- Deploying and maintaining applications and infrastructure via configuration management software (Ansible, Terraform) using IaC best practices.
- Scripting skills (e.g., bash, Python)
- Using GitHub to manage deployment lifecycles in structured CI/CD environment
- Experience working in structured ITSM change management environment
- Knowledge of the configuration of monitoring solutions and the creation of dashboards (Splunk, Wily, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor)
