Job Description

Position Summary:

The Quality Control Production role is responsible for ensuring all products meet established quality standards and specifications. This position involves conducting quality inspections across departments, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with production staff to resolve issues promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections across different presses and departments as specified by the job description.
• Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Review products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Move between presses to monitor and assess quality continuously.
• Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing
• functionality, comparing to specifications etc.).
• Use the iPad interface to log quality revisions and maintain accurate records.
• Sign off on various quality control forms to verify that quality checks have been completed.
• Report any quality issues or deviations to the Production Supervisor immediately to facilitate quick resolution.
• Receive training on QC forms, testing procedures, and sampling standards to align with customer requirements.
• Stay updated on quality control standards and best practices through ongoing training and development.
• Maintain open communication with the Production Supervisor regarding quality findings and any issues identified during inspections.
• Work collaboratively with production staff to address and resolve quality concerns.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by providing feedback on quality control processes and suggesting enhancements.
• Assist in implementing corrective actions for quality issues to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure that all quality control activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
• Follow sampling standards and customer-specific requirements as outlined in training and job specifications.
• Overtime Authorization and Requirement - Unauthorized approval in advance of working overtime and repeated refusal to work overtime are violations of company policy.

• Ability to move between presses and production areas throughout the shift.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to [Insert weight, e.g., 30 pounds] as needed.

The hourly range for this position is $20 to $25

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent.
• Basic understanding of quality control procedures
• Previous experience in quality control or production environments is preferred. Basic understanding of quality control procedures
