Edwards Lifesciences (“Edwards”) is seeking an experienced legal contracts professional who is looking to join a dynamic and fast-paced in-house legal department to support the future of growth of Edwards. We are looking for someone who has excellent contracts management skills, produces high-quality work product, demonstrates initiative, and works with minimal supervision. This person needs to meet deadlines, be able to handle multiple projects needs simultaneously, and have strong attention to detail and understanding of contract processes and related contracts management software applications (e.g., contract lifecycle management (“CLM”) systems). The Enterprise Contracts Lifecycle Integration of Processes and Systems at Edwards (“ECLIPSE”) Analyst is responsible for assisting with the company’s existing contracts system and be a key member of the ECLIPSE program team and involved in implementing a new CLM technology. In addition, this individual will support the organization’s new contracts center of excellence (“CoE”) function and will work to improve enterprise contracting processes and support overall operational effectiveness. The ECLIPSE Analyst will report into the corporate office of Edwards Global Law Department. Work Schedule: Position is hybrid, candidate must live within driving distance from Irvine, CA. Key Responsibilities: Support the ECLIPSE program leads, including the ECLIPSE Program Manager and Law Department core team lead, in driving goals, which include: the legal operational needs for the new contracts center of excellence (CoE); implementation of a new CLM platform globally; and analyze, optimize, roll-out and support alignment of global contract processes; and manage contract template optimization efforts globally Participate in key ECLIPSE project meetings, CLM requirement workshops, and coordinate with internal and external service partners to drive overall CLM system implementation success. Develop strong business relationships with key stakeholders and implement creative solutions with the focus on simplifying existing processes. Provides essential end user support regarding various types of contracts at Edwards. Handle drafting and simple negotiations of various types of contracts at Edwards. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree is required and minimum 3 years of combined experience in contracts management and administration. Preferred Qualifications: Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent computer skills and proficient in the MS Office Suite, including Excel Ability to work under pressure and prioritize projects and tasks appropriately. Strict attention to detail. Ability to be a team player and a trusted business partner. Good written and verbal communication skills. Experience working in complex, matrixed and global business environment. Ability to adapt to new technologies. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environment. Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills. For California, the base pay range for this position is $69,000 to $97,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
